Discover the timeless beauty of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, in a welcoming workshop in central Tokyo. Begin with a short introduction to the cultural significance and history of Ikebana, along with photos of the instructor’s works for inspiration. Then, be guided step by step to create your own floral arrangement using seasonal flowers and authentic Ikebana tools. No experience is required, and beginners are warmly welcomed.
At the end of the workshop, take your arrangement with you to enjoy during your stay, for example in your hotel room. The small-group setting ensures personal attention, making the class easy and enjoyable for solo travelers, couples, friends, and families.
Led by Ai Watanabe, a licensed Ikebana instructor with more than 10 years of experience in the Ikenobo school, the oldest Ikebana tradition in Japan, this workshop offers not only practical skills but also insight into Japanese aesthetics and wellness.
